When chosing which material I wanted to use to clad the structure/skeleton of the horse, I wanted a material that would closly resemble an actual horse's body. I think that regular sketch paper did a pretty good job of resembeling a horses coat, by showing the structure through the cladding; just like you can see a real horses muscles through his coat.
The way that you cut the paper is quite successful. Making architectural form with this approach is a challenge, however. At a building scale, what material could crush and crinckle in the way paper does?
